Global by design · Launching first with US→India

Manage your global team directly.

Your managers lead the work. Sekai handles local employment and operations, so offshore employees can work as part of your team—not behind a consulting firm.

Sekai is pre-launch. We are validating the first corridor with employers now.

The problem

Offshore work should not mean outsourced control.

Consulting firms can help companies hire quickly, but the intermediary often remains inside the working relationship. Sekai is built around a simpler model.
  1. 01

    Management becomes indirect

The person doing the work may sit behind an account layer instead of having a direct day-to-day reporting relationship with the employer’s manager.

    Less context · slower correction
  2. 02

Spend and pay are hard to see

A bundled consulting rate can make it difficult to understand what goes to the worker and what pays for the intermediary.

    One invoice · limited transparency
  3. 03

    Accountability gets fragmented

When quality or performance slips, the manager, consulting firm, and worker may not share one clear line of responsibility.

    More handoffs · more friction

The Sekai model

One team. Two clear responsibilities.

The employer leads the person and the work. Sekai runs the local employment layer around that relationship.
Your company

Direct the work.

Set priorities, build context, coach performance, and include the employee in your team.

Sekai

Run local operations.

Coordinate employment, pay, benefits, onboarding, and ongoing support in the employee’s country.

Why it matters

Better alignment on both sides.

The goal is to lower the employer’s total cost while giving workers access to better pay, stronger opportunities, and a healthier long-term relationship.

For employers

A direct line to the people doing the work, clearer accountability, and a team that operates to your standards.

For employees

Clearer expectations, closer access to the manager, and the chance to grow inside the team they actually support.

How it works

From role to working relationship.

The public story is simple. The employer owns the role, hiring, and day-to-day management; formal local actions follow the validated employment model.
  1. 01

    Define the role

You set the work, expectations, budget, and manager relationship.

    Employer-led
  2. 02

    Choose the person

You interview and select. Candidates understand the role before their information is shared.

    Human decision
  3. 03

    Bring them into your team

The employee reports to your manager and works with your team, tools, priorities, and standards.

    Direct relationship
  4. 04

    Keep local operations moving

Sekai’s model covers local employment, payroll coordination, benefits, onboarding, and ongoing worker operations.

    Sekai-managed

First corridor

Global ambition. A focused start.

Sekai is being built corridor by corridor. We are beginning with US employers hiring technical talent in India, then expanding only after the model is ready.

US employer

Owns the role, interview, selection, day-to-day management, and performance decisions.

India employee

Joins the employer’s team with clear role context, consent, local employment, and an ongoing support path.

Built with clear boundaries

Direct does not mean careless.

Employers keep role, hiring, and day-to-day management authority. Candidates keep agency. AI can organize information, but people make consequential decisions.

Human decisions

Hiring, compensation, performance, discipline, and termination remain human-owned and follow the validated local process.

Candidate consent

People should understand the opportunity and choose whether their information is shared for it.

Questions

What to know before we talk.

Is Sekai live today?

Sekai is pre-launch. We are speaking with employers now and building toward the first US→India corridor.

Is Sekai only for US-to-India hiring?

No. Sekai is designed for global teams. US→India is the first corridor because we want to prove the operating model narrowly before expanding.

Who manages the employee’s work?

The employer does. Your manager sets priorities, works directly with the employee, and owns performance decisions. Sekai handles the local employment and operations layer.

What can we discuss now?

Bring one real role, your current offshore model, and the points where control, cost visibility, or accountability break down.

Start a conversation

Bring one role. We’ll start with the real operating questions.

Book a conversation, share the role in writing, or email the founder directly.
