Pre-launch · First corridor: US→India
See what supports the employee—and what supports the operation.
Sekai’s goal is to lower total employer cost while creating room for better employee pay and opportunity. The model should make each cost layer visible.
No price, savings rate, salary improvement, or statutory figure is approved for publication yet.
The problem
A bundled consulting rate hides the relationship between spend and pay.
- 01
Employer spend
The total amount paid for the person and every service around them.
- 02
Employee compensation
Salary and variable pay that go to the worker.
- 03
Intermediary layers
Recruiting, account management, local employment, operations, and margin bundled together.
The Sekai approach
Separate the layers before comparing the total.
- 01
Compensation and local obligations
Show employee pay separately from employer-side statutory or required costs.
- 02
Benefits and operations
Separate benefits, equipment, checks, onboarding, payroll, and support costs.
- 03
Sekai fee and assumptions
Show the service fee, currency assumptions, reserves, and one-time costs without hiding them in salary.
What we are testing
Can transparency improve both sides of the equation?
- 01
For the employer
A clearer total-cost comparison and a direct line to the employee’s work.
- 02
For the employee
A model designed to create access to better pay and opportunities, without treating that outcome as guaranteed.
Questions
The short version.
Does Sekai guarantee savings?
No. Savings depend on the role, compensation, legal model, benefits, operating needs, and current alternative.
Does Sekai guarantee higher pay?
No. Better pay is an intended model outcome, not a promise. Compensation still depends on the employer, role, market, and final operating structure.
When will pricing be available?
After the first corridor’s legal, operational, and commercial model is validated.
